Onion bread simple

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 700 g flour
  • 700 ml milk
  • 2 bags of baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 large onions

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Finely chop the onions and fry them. Combine the flour, milk, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Then add the browned onions. Pour everything into a large bread pan and preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake the bread for about 15 minutes at 200°C. Then reduce the heat to 180°C and bake for about 45 minutes, until the bread is golden brown. It’s advisable to use a skewer to check that it’s done.
