Pork fish in cheese sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g pork fillet(s) (pork fillet)
  • 150 g bacon or ham
  • 200 g herb cream cheese
  • some mustard
  • 250 ml whipped cream
  • some salt and pepper
  • some butter, in flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the pork fillet into approximately 4 cm thick slices, season with salt and pepper, and rub with mustard. Wrap each piece in bacon or lardons. Grease a baking dish or roasting pan with butter, place the fillet pieces in it, and sear briefly on both sides on the stovetop. Then top with butter flakes and bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 10 minutes. Meanwhile, for the sauce, combine whipped cream with cream cheese and season with salt and pepper. Pour over the meat and return the dish to the oven for approximately 20 minutes. Potatoes and salad go well as a side dish.
