Mozzarella with tomatoes with a twist

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of mozzarella
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • ¼ apple, sour
  • 1 bunch basil, chopped
  • 1 handful of walnuts, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil (pumpkin seed oil), alternatively olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

This version of mozzarella may take some getting used to for die-hard mozzarella fans, but it’s worth a try. Perhaps your palate will be open to new experiences! Simply slice the mozzarella and tomatoes (both should be at room temperature, as the flavor will best develop). Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with basil and walnuts, finely slice the apple and arrange it on top. Drizzle with pumpkin seed oil and serve. Serve with ciabatta.
