super tasty and juicy
Bring all ingredients to room temperature overnight. Place flour in a bowl and make a well in the center. Add sugar, margarine, egg, and crumbled yeast, then sprinkle salt over the flour around the edge. Pour milk into the well, stirring from the center outwards until a smooth, firm dough forms. Cover the bowl with the dough and keep warm. Let it rise until it doubles in size. In the meantime, wash the apples, dry them, and cut into small pieces. Wash the raisins, dry them with a kitchen towel, grind the nuts, and mix the cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla sugar into the apple pieces. Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured board. Spread the apple mixture evenly on the dough. Brush the rolled-out dough with a little water along the inner edge. Now, starting from the left corner, roll the filled dough diagonally. Cut into approximately 9 cm long pieces and place them cut-side down in the prepared, greased jars. Bake in a preheated oven at 195 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. Prepare a coating from the other ingredients. Once the snails have cooled, brush the coating over them.
