Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 large can of peach(s), halves
- Butter for the mold
- 110 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 50 g brown sugar
- 60 g butter, soft
- 1 egg yolk
- 60 ml buttermilk
- 3 tbsp almonds, chopped
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Arrange the peaches in a greased baking dish. Combine the flour, baking powder, and sugar. Add the butter and mix everything together with your hands until crumbly. Add the egg yolk and buttermilk and stir in with a spoon. Mix in the almonds. Spread the batter among the peaches with a tablespoon. Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C on the middle rack for about 35-40 minutes until golden brown. Let cool to lukewarm and serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
