Apple Marzipan Gratin

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 150 g marzipan (raw mass)
  • 125 ml cream
  • 2 apples, peeled and cut into wedges
  • n. B. Almond(s), sliced
  • some cinnamon
  • e.g. raisins
  • powdered sugar
  • Ice cream (vanilla)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring the cream to a boil. Dissolve the marzipan in it and season with cinnamon. Add raisins, if desired. Place the apple slices in a gratin dish and pour the marzipan mixture over them. Sprinkle with slivered almonds and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 15 minutes (until the marzipan is lightly browned). Serve with vanilla ice cream, powdered sugar, or on its own.
