Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g plum(s) (prunes)
- 120 g macaroons (coconut macaroons)
- 300 ml milk or half and half cream
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp cane sugar
- some cinnamon
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Quarter and pit the plums. Dice the coconut macaroons and scatter them in a shallow gratin dish. Arrange the plums on top. In a small saucepan, whisk together the milk or single cream, eggs, cornstarch, cane sugar, and a pinch of cinnamon. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat immediately and continue stirring. Pour the cream over the plums. Place the gratin dish in the top half of an oven preheated to 220°C and bake for approximately 15-20 minutes. Serve warm.
