Banana Liqueur I

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 bananas, ripe
  • 125 g white rock sugar
  • 2 drops of bitter almond flavor
  • 750 ml rum, white

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Slice the peeled bananas and place them in a wide-mouthed, clean glass jar. Add the rock candy and bitter almond oil, and pour the rum over them. Let it steep for about four weeks, tightly closed, shaking frequently at first. Then filter through a boiled cheesecloth or a fine sieve and pour into a liqueur decanter.
