Garlic honey

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 bulbs garlic, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

delicious for seasoning

For this recipe, you’ll need a second jar of the same size as the honey jar. Peel the garlic and separate it into individual cloves. Divide the honey between both jars and add an equal amount of garlic cloves to each. Seal the jars tightly. After about a week, the honey will have liquefied and absorbed the garlic flavor. Garlic honey will keep for over a year if stored in a cool place and, spoonful by spoonful, is perfect for seasoning meat marinades, salad dressings, etc. Your imagination is the limit. Especially delicious: Pour 1 teaspoon of it over with vodka—and swallow.
