Apple cake with honey and cinnamon icing

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 500 g apples, small
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 25 g butter, melted
  • Almond(s) (flakes) and cinnamon sugar

Instructions

Beat the egg and sugar until creamy, then stir in the oil and sour cream. Mix the flour and baking soda, sift in, and stir in. Spread the batter into a greased springform pan. Peel, quarter, and core the apples, then score the rounded sides several times lengthwise. Arrange them in a wreath shape on the batter, scored side up. Bring the milk to a boil with honey and cinnamon, thicken with the flour, and stir the melted butter into the cinnamon pudding. Pour over the apples. Sprinkle with flaked almonds and cinnamon sugar, if desired. Bake at 180°C for about 25-30 minutes.
