Gyro pan with leek

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg meat (gyros), seasoned
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 cup of cream
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 5 ½ tbsp processed cheese
  • possibly salt and pepper
  • possibly spice mix for gyros

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Sear the seasoned gyro meat in a heated pan. Trim the leek, slice it into thin rings with the onion, and add everything to the pan. Now add the cream, sour cream, and processed cheese. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes over low heat. Season with pepper, salt, and gyro seasoning, if desired. Serve with rice, potatoes, fried potatoes, French fries, or pasta; pita bread or ciabatta is also delicious. Serve with a green or mixed salad.
