  • n. B. vegetable oil
  • e.g. olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel and slice the potatoes. Slowly cook the potato slices in a pan, preferably with high sides, with vegetable oil, salt, pepper, and sweet paprika. Cover if possible. Meanwhile, peel and quarter the onions, tearing apart the individual layers. Peel the garlic and thinly slice. Deseed and wash the bell peppers, and cut into strips. Heat the olive oil in a second pan. Fry the onions, bell pepper strips, and garlic until golden brown, then set aside. While they’re cooking, slice the Mettenden sausages and fry them in a little oil in another pan, also setting them aside when golden brown. When the potatoes are al dente, add the vegetable mixture and the Mettenden sausages. Season to taste. Serve with a salad of your choice and a delicious garlic dip.
