Carrot and sausage stew

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 250 g meat sausage
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 125 ml cream
  • 500 ml vegetable broth or meat broth
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Potato(es), approx. 2 – 3 per person

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel and chop the potatoes, carrots, and onion. Slice the carrots. Cut the sausage into quarters and the potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Fry the onions until translucent. Briefly fry the carrots and sausage. Then deglaze with vegetable or meat stock and simmer for 10-20 minutes. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the carrot slices. Add the potatoes and cook until tender. Thicken the stock slightly with flour, if desired. Add the parsley and cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
