Arugula salad with citrus fruits and honey-sesame marinade

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 bunches of arugula
  • 1 orange(s)
  • 1 grapefruit(s)
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp oil (e.g. olive oil and sesame oil mixed)
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the arugula, spin dry, and tear into bite-sized pieces. Peel the orange, grapefruit, and lemon, removing the white pith. Remove the membranes from the fruit segments, reserving the juice. For the marinade, heat the fruit juice with the honey and sesame seeds in a saucepan over low heat. Arrange the arugula and citrus fruits on plates. Mix the lukewarm honey-mustard marinade with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Drizzle the marinade over the salad.
