Gorgonzola sauce with mushrooms

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 small garlic clove(s)
  • 1 slice(s) of cooked ham
  • 200 ml milk
  • 200g Gorgonzola
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, fry the fresh mushrooms in a pan until they’re swimming in their broth. Remove the mushrooms and place them in a separate bowl, reserving the broth. First, heat a little oil or fat in a saucepan and lightly sauté the onions, garlic, and ham. Once the onions are translucent, add about 150 ml of milk and melt the Gorgonzola. Once the cheese is completely melted, add the rest of the milk, depending on the mixture, and season to taste. Finally, add the mushrooms and about 2-3 tablespoons of the broth. Bring to a boil and simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
