Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 herring fillets
  • 2 onions

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

the ‘normal’ way of eating matjes, without all the cream and mush.

Peel the onions and slice them into rings. Arrange the herring fillets on plates and arrange the onion rings on top. Enjoy with boiled potatoes.
