Spinach dumplings

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g spinach, strained
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 100 g cheese (low-fat cheese), grated
  • 1 garlic clove(s), crushed
  • salt and pepper
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Pour the flour over the spinach and add the egg, salt and pepper, garlic, and perhaps a little water until the dough is soft. Let it rest for half an hour. Shape the dumplings with a spoon and boil them in salted water until they float to the surface. Sauté the onion in a pan and add the dumplings. Sprinkle with grated cheese and let it melt! (For very good eaters and very hungry, this could also be made for 2 people.)
