Black Cloud Tea

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tea bag, black
  • 1 cup water, hot
  • 50 ml milk
  • possibly sugar sprinkles, colored or chocolate sprinkles
  • possibly vanilla sugar or cinnamon
  • possibly honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

a milk frother is required.

Pour hot water over the black tea in a large glass and let it steep. Make sure to leave room for the milk cap. I usually use English Breakfast tea, but any other black tea will do, depending on your taste. While the tea is steeping, prepare the milk foam. To do this, froth 50 ml of milk in a small container using a milk frother. Add a pinch of vanilla sugar or cinnamon, if desired. You can also experiment with other spices—anything you can find in your spice cupboard. Let your creativity run wild. Once the milk foam is nice and fluffy, it can be carefully poured over the tea. Now you can decorate the white cap with sprinkles. If you like your tea a little sweeter, you can also add a little honey before adding the milk cap. Of course, you can also replace the tea with cocoa, cappuccino, or coffee. I prefer the cloud tea version because it’s less calorie-dense.
