Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 small jar of mixed pickles
- 1 pack of lactose-free cream cheese (e.g. from Minus L)

Place the mixed pickles in a sieve and drain well. The sauce can be discarded; it won’t be needed for this recipe. Place the drained mixed pickles in a bowl with the package of lactose-free cream cheese and blend. Or place them in a Tupperware Quick Chef container and blend briefly. That’s enough. The whole thing is perfect as a spread on fresh whole-grain bread. It’s a good alternative to fatty sandwiches or as an alternative to sausage and cheese on bread. Follow the DZG food guidelines if you want to go gluten-free.
