Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup crème fraîche or
- Double cream
- ½ red bell pepper(s)
- some sweet paprika powder
- some paprika powder, hot
- Salt and pepper from the mill
- possibly cayenne pepper
- some cream or milk, if necessary.
- 1 tbsp tomato paste, approx.

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
quick and tasty
Combine the cream cheese, crème fraîche, and tomato paste. Finely dice the bell pepper and stir in. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. If the spread is too thick, you can smooth it out a bit with cream or milk. I’ve given an approximate amount for the tomato paste. I usually just do it on a whim! If you like, you can also add some cayenne pepper for a little extra spice. It goes well with fresh bread.
