Almond eggnog

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 ml milk, 3.5%
  • 50 ml cream
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 350 g powdered sugar
  • 2 drops of bitter almond oil
  • 250 ml vodka or grain alcohol

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Briefly bring the milk and cream to a boil and let cool completely. Whisk the egg yolks with the milk and cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar until the mixture forms a slightly thick foam. Then slowly stir in the vodka or Korn and bitter almond oil. Strain through a sieve and fill bottles. Store in the refrigerator! It will keep for about 3 weeks. The amount of powdered sugar can be slightly reduced or increased if desired. The same applies to the vodka or Korn. It all depends on how much alcohol you like in your liqueur. It’s a matter of taste. Almond eggnog is interchangeable with “regular” eggnog, for example, in cake recipes or drinks. Just try it out.
