Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 bottle of tomato ketchup
  • 3 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 250 g sausage (coarse ham sausage) or salami
  • Salt
  • lots of oregano
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the ham sausage into small cubes. Peel the onion and dice it too. Peel the 3 garlic cloves and finely chop them (do not press them). Heat olive oil in a pan. Sauté the ham sausage, onions, and half of the garlic until nicely browned and crispy. Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes. Next, add the entire bottle of tomato ketchup, followed by 1/4 liter of water. Return everything to the heat and season with plenty of oregano, the remaining garlic, salt, and pepper (if you like, you can also add chili). Simmer everything for another 10 minutes, then let it rest for 2 hours. Serve with spaghetti and Parmesan cheese.
