Pasta with cheese and cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 pack of cooked ham, diced
  • 2 cups of crème fraîche
  • 2 pts. cream cheese spread
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), diced
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • e.g. basil, fresh (or dried)
  • 1 point pasta

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Heat the oil in a pan and add the mushrooms, diced onion, and diced ham. Simmer for about 10 minutes (until the remaining mushroom liquid has almost evaporated). Then remove the pan from the heat and add the processed cheese and crème fraîche. Return to the heat and simmer for another 30 minutes on the lowest heat (gas) or level 2 (electric stovetop). Season with salt and pepper. During this time, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Serve the pasta with the sauce on plates and garnish with basil.
