Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 m.-sized eggs
  • 250 g sugar
  • 750 g quark, low-fat
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • 60 g cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Fat and flour for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 hours; Total time approx. 15 hours 15 minutes

Beat the eggs and sugar with the whisk of a hand mixer until frothy, then stir in the quark, cream, and cornstarch one at a time. Divide the dough in half and stir the cocoa powder into one half. Grease and flour a 26 cm springform pan. Spoon both doughs alternately into the pan. Dab the mixture through with a fork to create a marbled pattern. Bake in a preheated oven (175°C electric oven, 150°C fan oven, gas mark 2) for 50-60 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes in the switched-off oven. Loosen the edges of the cake with a knife. Let cool in the pan.
