Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 2 kg turkey schnitzel or other schnitzel
- 750 g minced meat
- 500 g onion(s)
- salt and pepper
- 2 eggs
- 2 sour cream
- some milk
- 500 g cheese, grated
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cut each schnitzel into four pieces and season well. Line an ovenproof dish with the minced meat, cover well with the minced meat, and scatter the onion rings over the meat. Whisk together the eggs, seasonings, sour cream, and a little milk and pour over the schnitzels. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 175°C to 200°C for about 1 hour. Cover with aluminum foil for the first 40 minutes.
