Ciabatta Sandwich de Luxe

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 ciabatta, approx. 300 g
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • ¼ iceberg lettuce
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 2 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 100 g turkey ham, thinly sliced
  • some ketchup

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the mayonnaise and mustard in a slightly larger bowl. Cut the iceberg lettuce into thin strips (approx. 5 mm) and mix with the mustard mixture. Slice the tomato and eggs. Fry the bacon in a pan and place on kitchen paper. Cut the ciabatta lengthwise. Cover the bottom with the iceberg lettuce. Loosely spread the turkey ham on top. Place the egg and tomato slices on top, followed by the crispy bacon. Drizzle with a little ketchup and place the top on top. Cut in half and serve or eat straight away. Or you can share it several times for a buffet. You can, of course, vary the toppings.
