Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bunch of carrots
  • 1 tbsp broth, granulated
  • 150 g smoked ham
  • 150 g cream cheese with herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

First, wash and peel the carrots. Boil them in a pot with water and the broth until al dente (not too soft!), then let them cool. Then spread the ham slices (if they’re too wide, simply cut them in half) with the cream cheese. The fat content of the cheese is up to you. Now, depending on the size, wrap each carrot diagonally with 1-2 slices of ham. Then place them on the grill until the ham is nice and crispy. The mild sweetness of the carrots harmonizes beautifully with the smoky flavor of the ham.
