Lettuce with condensed milk dressing

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-large lettuce(s)
  • 8 tbsp condensed milk, 4%
  • 1 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Tear the lettuce apart, wash the leaves thoroughly, and spin dry. Then tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces—do not cut them. Mix a marinade of condensed milk, mustard, and lemon juice, pour it over the lettuce, stir, and finally sprinkle with sugar. Serve immediately. This very simple, quick salad goes very well with fried fish fillets, such as redfish, with mustard sauce and boiled potatoes.
