Chicken breast with curry cream

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 chicken breast, skinless, cut into 2 cm cubes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 piece(s) ginger, 1 cm, peeled
  • 1 ½ tbsp curry powder
  • 2 tbsp honey, liquid
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 250 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Crush the ginger and garlic in a mortar. Marinate the chicken breast cubes with the paste, honey, curry, and soy sauce for about 30 minutes. Heat a little oil in a pan and brown the chicken. When the honey begins to caramelize and darken, stir in the cream and simmer for a few more minutes. Season with salt. Tip: You can also stir in well-cooked leftover vegetables like beans or leeks. Delicious over white rice.
