Ingredients for 6 servings:
- ½ bag(s) of ready-made mix for farmhouse bread
- 7 eggs (hard-boiled)
- 200 g bacon, sliced
- 1 mozzarella
- 1 bag(s) of cheese, grated
- 1 bunch of basil
- olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Prepare the bread mix according to the instructions. After the dough has risen, roll it out to about 1/2 cm thick. Brush with olive oil. Then place the ham, eggs, mozzarella, and basil in the center. Sprinkle with the cheese and roll tightly into a long roll. Twist the roll into a snail shape and secure with toothpicks. Brush with olive oil again. Bake for about 1 hour at 180°C (350°F). (Best prepared the day before). Basil can also be substituted with shallots or leeks.
