Cheesecake without a base

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 kg quark
  • 100 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla pudding powder (bourbon vanilla)
  • 1 dashes butter vanilla flavoring
  • 1 dashes lemon flavor
  • 40 g semolina
  • 2 cans of tangerine(s)
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks, sugar, and butter until fluffy. Add the quark and mix. Then stir in the butter vanilla and lemon flavoring. Stir in the pudding mix and half the sachet of baking powder with the semolina. To add a finishing touch, I add two cans of mandarin oranges; this makes the cake moist and keeps longer if there are any leftovers, which I never have. Finally, beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter. Pour everything into a greased dish and bake on the lowest rack of an unheated oven at 155 degrees Celsius (300 degrees Fahrenheit). Then let cool.
