Chinese cabbage salad with apples and tangerines

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 small Chinese cabbage
  • 1 small apple, preferably rosy-cheeked
  • 1 can of tangerine(s)
  • 150 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whisk the cream and sugar until fluffy and wait until the sugar has dissolved. Only then stir in the vinegar and lemon juice, as this will make the sauce nice and thick and cling to the salad. Wash the Chinese cabbage, remove the stalk, and cut into thin strips. Wash and chop the apple, and drain the mandarins. Fold the salad ingredients into the cream sauce and serve immediately. The cream sauce also goes perfectly with fresh lettuce.
