Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g double cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 260 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder (heaped tsp)
  • ½ orange(s), grated peel
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 120 g sugar
  • 80 ml oil
  • 200 ml milk
  • Fat for the mold
  • 80 g jam (strawberry)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Almond(s), ground, for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

enough for about 12 muffins

For the filling, mix the double cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth. For the dough, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and orange zest. Whisk the egg in a bowl. Stir in the sugar, oil, and milk. Then add the flour mixture and mix until smooth. Fill 1 heaped teaspoon of batter into each of the greased, 150 ml muffin tins sprinkled with ground almonds. Then spread the cream cheese and jam evenly on top. Finally, spread the remaining batter on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for approx. 25-30 minutes. Let rest in the tins for approx. 10 minutes, then remove. Let cool and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
