Paprika-chili sausage skewers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g bratwurst
  • 1 chili pepper(s), green
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 bunch thyme, fresh
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the sausages into even slices. Remove the seeds from the chili and bell peppers. Cut the chili, bell peppers, and onions into equal-sized pieces and place them in a bowl. Add olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper and let them simmer briefly. Thread the sausage slices, onions, bell peppers, and chili onto the skewers, alternating them. Baste them with the marinade occasionally while grilling.
