Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 tsp, heaped jam, or fruit spread
  • 2 tsp, ground locust bean gum
  • 4 sheets of rice paper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Sweets for allergy sufferers

Carefully moisten two strips of rice paper, place the other two strips on top and smooth them out to create two thick, sturdy strips. Mix the jam and locust bean gum well. Spread the mixture a finger’s thickness on one strip of rice paper, place the other on top and smooth it out. If the rice paper curls, use a drop of water to reattach it. Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Once the rice paper is dry, the finished slice can be neatly cut into shape with a kitchen knife.
