Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g lentils, brown
  • 1 liter of water
  • 150 g bacon, diced
  • 2 medium-sized onions, diced
  • 2 medium-sized potatoes, diced
  • 1 m.-sized carrot(s), sliced
  • 1 handful of leek, cut into rings
  • 2 sausages, minced meat
  • 4 sausages, Vienna sausages
  • 125 ml red wine
  • pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Bring the lentils to a boil with water, diced onions, and bacon. After 15 minutes of cooking, add the leek rings, sliced ​​carrots, diced potatoes, and the minced sausages. Cook for another 30 minutes. Add the red wine, season with salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 15 minutes, while the Vienna sausages simmer in the soup. Season to taste and serve.
