Fried Brussels Sprouts in Mustard Cream
The perfect fried brussels sprouts in mustard cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Brussels sprouts
- 50 g Smoked bacon streaked
- 150 ml Cream
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- Freshly ground nutmeg
- Salt
- Butter
- Clean the Brussels sprouts, cut away the stalk generously. Then halve the cabbage and cut into fine strips.
- Heat the saucepan and leave the bacon in it and then add a little butter and then add the Brussels sprouts – medium heat – and then fry the cauliflower for a few minutes, turning it, so that it gets a few toasted aromas.
- Then set the stove to the lowest possible temperature, add the cream and mustard and simmer for another 5 minutes. Then season with salt, nutmeg and possibly a little more mustard.
- We had veal meatballs and purple KaPü with it.
