Fried Brussels Sprouts in Mustard Cream

The perfect fried brussels sprouts in mustard cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts
  • 50 g Smoked bacon streaked
  • 150 ml Cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Freshly ground nutmeg
  • Salt
  • Butter
  1. Clean the Brussels sprouts, cut away the stalk generously. Then halve the cabbage and cut into fine strips.
  2. Heat the saucepan and leave the bacon in it and then add a little butter and then add the Brussels sprouts – medium heat – and then fry the cauliflower for a few minutes, turning it, so that it gets a few toasted aromas.
  3. Then set the stove to the lowest possible temperature, add the cream and mustard and simmer for another 5 minutes. Then season with salt, nutmeg and possibly a little more mustard.
  4. We had veal meatballs and purple KaPü with it.
