Spicy beef salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g lean beef, cooked
  • 150 g cucumber(s)
  • 100 g corn cobs, pickled
  • 70 g pepper, pickled
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 6 tbsp chili sauce
  • 5 tbsp beef broth
  • 1 tbsp cognac
  • 6 tbsp olive oil or herb oil
  • salt and pepper
  • chili salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

First, cut the beef into 5 mm thick slices, then into 1 cm long strips. Wash the cucumber, halve it, scrape out the seeds with a spoon, and then cut into thin slices. Drain the corn and slice it. Slice the chili peppers into rings. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Finely chop the parsley. Mix the vinegar with the chili sauce, broth, cognac, and oil. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and chili salt. Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and let it marinate for at least two hours, then season again.
