Puff pastry parcels with chicken

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 pointed pepper, red
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • ½ bunch parsley, fresh
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • e.g. olive oil
  • 1 small can of peas
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Pul Biber
  • 1 package of puff pastry

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Chop the chicken breast into small pieces, and also chop the potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, and onions. Chop the parsley and crush the garlic. Fry the onions, garlic, and chili peppers in olive oil. Add the potatoes and carrots and fry. Add the chicken and fry briefly, then add the peas. Season to taste with salt and spices. Finally, add the chopped parsley, stir, and turn off the heat. Remove the puff pastry from the package, place the filling on one side, and fold the other side over the filling. Lightly press the sides in with a fork. Brush the pastry with egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes until golden brown.
