Ribbon pasta with herbs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g tagliatelle, green
  • Salt water, boiling
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 100 ml milk
  • 4 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 bunch of herbs, parsley, basil and thyme, mixed, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 4 slice(s) bacon, streaky
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water. Then place it in a colander, rinse it with hot water, and let it drain. Preheat oven to 180°C. Combine the cream with the milk, eggs, and herbs, and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Place the pasta in a greased baking dish and pour the egg and cream mixture over it. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 45 minutes. Fry the bacon slices in a pan. After 25 minutes of cooking, place the bacon slices on top of the pasta.
