Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g pasta (macaroni), broken into pieces
- 1 tbsp oil
- Salt
- 700 g meat sausage, finely diced
- 2 medium-sized onions, finely diced
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 eggs, whisked
- 2 can/n tomatoes (pizza), 400 g each
- Black pepper, freshly ground
- 150 g cheese (butter), coarsely grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Cook the macaroni in salted water with 1 tablespoon of oil for about 7 minutes, drain, and let cool. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the diced onions until translucent, add the sausage and heat briefly. Mix the eggs and tomatoes together and season with salt and pepper. Grease a baking dish, layer the macaroni, sausage mixture, and tomato-egg mixture, with the tomato-egg mixture as the last layer. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 45 minutes.
