Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 16 slice(s) pork, from the back, thin slices
  • 16 cubes of sheep cheese, small
  • 2 onions
  • some oil
  • Spice mix (gyros spice)
  • possibly salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 50 minutes

Peel the onions, quarter them lengthwise, and break them into pieces. Place a piece of feta cheese on each slice of pork loin, season, and roll up. Thread 4 rolls onto a wooden skewer, alternating with the onion pieces. In a shallow bowl, mix the oil and gyro seasoning. Marinate the skewers for about 2 hours, turning occasionally. Grill on the grill for about 10 minutes on each side. Serve with tzatziki and salad.
