Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 sausages (Swiss giant cervelat)
- 100 g sliced breakfast bacon
- 50 g mountain cheese, strong, in one piece
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Grilled sausage with cheese
Slice the sausages lengthwise. Cut the cheese into slices and stuff the sausages with them. Then wrap the cervelats in bacon and secure them with toothpicks to hold them together. The Chrampfer cervelats are best prepared on the grill. A frying pan also works, of course. Once the cheese melts inside, they’re ready to serve.
