Tomato – Mozzarella – Steaks

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork steaks (back)
  • 400g spaghetti
  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 150 ml cream or milk
  • 4 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • onion powder
  • garlic powder
  • Paprika powder
  • Liquid seasoning

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the spaghetti until tender, drain, and keep warm. Season the sirloin steaks and cook on both sides over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Place the steaks in a baking dish. Brush each with 1/2 teaspoon of tomato paste and alternate layers of tomato and mozzarella until each steak is covered. Season with salt and drizzle with oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 10-15 minutes with fan/convection oven. Place the remaining tomato paste in a saucepan, pour in the cream, and add the remaining mozzarella, diced. If there are any tomatoes left, dice them and add them. Season to taste. Add the spaghetti to the pan and toss well with the sauce. Heat until the mozzarella has melted. Serve with a green salad.
