Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- ¼ liter of milk
- 400 g minced meat, mixed
- salt and pepper
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 apple
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp curry powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Make a meat dough from breadcrumbs, 1/8 l milk, ground meat, onion, and egg. Season with salt and pepper, and mix well. Form large meatballs and cook in salted water for about 10 minutes. Remove the meatballs and keep warm. Peel, core, and finely dice the apple. Chop the onion. Heat the fat and fry the curry. Add the apple and onion. Add the flour and sauté. Pour in 1/8 l of the cooking broth and the remaining milk. Cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Return the meatballs to the pan and heat through. Serve best with rice and chutney!
