Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat (beef)
  • 1 bunch of soup vegetables
  • 6 potatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste
  • ½ package of tomatoes, pureed
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Spice(s) (Gyros/Meat Spice)
  • some broth
  • e.g. sour cream

Chop the soup vegetables into small cubes, and cut the potatoes into medium-sized cubes. Brown the minced meat in a pan with a little oil, add the garlic cloves, and season with salt and pepper. Sauté the finely chopped vegetables and potatoes in a little oil in a large pot for 5 minutes. Add the tomato paste, the minced meat, and the pureed tomatoes. Simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes, adding a little liquid (water, stock) frequently. Season to taste and add sour cream, if desired (4% canned milk also works).
