Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 pack of salted herring (matjes)
- 1 m.-sized mackerel(s), smoked
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 slice(s) white bread
- 50 ml milk
- 3 eggs
- 50 g butter
- 1 apple, sour variety
- some dill
- some parsley
- some chives

Hard-boil the eggs, rinse, peel, and chop. Remove the fins, skin, and bones from the mackerel. Pour milk over the white bread and let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then remove and juice the juice. Peel and quarter the apple and onion. Puree all ingredients (except the eggs and herbs) in a blender, then add the chopped eggs. Chop the herbs and sprinkle on top.
