Hearty fish spread according to grandma's recipe

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of salted herring (matjes)
  • 1 m.-sized mackerel(s), smoked
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 slice(s) white bread
  • 50 ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 apple, sour variety
  • some dill
  • some parsley
  • some chives

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Hard-boil the eggs, rinse, peel, and chop. Remove the fins, skin, and bones from the mackerel. Pour milk over the white bread and let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then remove and juice the juice. Peel and quarter the apple and onion. Puree all ingredients (except the eggs and herbs) in a blender, then add the chopped eggs. Chop the herbs and sprinkle on top.
