Omelette with dried meat and cheese

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 egg(s)
  • 20 g dried meat
  • 1 slice(s) cheese, Emmental or other cheese
  • 1 small onion(s) or shallot
  • 2 mushrooms
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 3 drops of Tabasco
  • 1 cl cream or milk
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely chop the onion, jerked beef, and mushrooms and fry in a pan with a tablespoon of margarine. Season with pepper and salt. Season the egg with cream, salt, nutmeg, and Tabasco and beat until frothy. Pour the egg mixture into a pan heated with margarine. Place the slice of cheese on one half of the still-liquid omelet. Once the egg has set and the cheese has melted slightly, spread the jerked beef filling on the cheese half. Close the omelet, carefully remove it from the pan, and serve with a salad garnish or pickle. Serve with a beer.
